It seems to go hand in hand, that if you have chosen a celebrant led ceremony you are also probably looking for somewhere equally unique as your reception venue.
Sometimes the ceremony and the reception can be in the same place.
Home gardens, municipal parks, exotic beaches – well the skies the limit depending on your imagination and of course your budget.
I thought I’d give you a general report on the few venues with which I’ve had direct experience in both the UK and Australia.
I can also help you with finding live entertainment or by creating professional bespoke entertainment through my company The Mosaic Cat.
The Italianate Glasshouse, Ramsgate, Kent

The Yarrow, Broadstairs, Kent
Seating 120: Hotel accomodation: Spa facilities: Restaurant facilities
The newly refurbished Yarrow is a registered marriage venue. This means that you can legally get married by a local council registrar. This (with all due respect) is more often dry as toast and takes 15 minutes.
But, you can also arrange for the registrar to witness the legal declaration and intentions of the marrying couple read and conducted by your celebrant = personal & unique.
I know the East Kent College Campus (in which the Yarrow lies) through programming dinner + music evenings in their former restaurant before the Yarrow opened. These were always great events with the students from the catering course gaining experience on a professional platform under top class supervision.
I also know the East Kent College acting as a catering company through the wedding of Graeme and Margaret which I’ve featured on the testimonials page. The ceremony was held in their beautiful garden, with live entertainment, jazz music to welcome guests and the post marriage dinner produced and delivered by East Kent College – excellent.
The Pavilion, Broadstairs, Kent
The Pavilion Weddings by the Sea. Enjoying uninterrupted views of the sandy cove and glistening shore of Viking Bay, The Pavilion & Garden on the Sands is the ideal setting and everything you need from a Wedding Venue in one great place.

Holly & Guy choose this lovely initimate venue with fabulous sea views for their wedding. Weddings can be conducted in the Terrace Suite or Bay Restaurant. Catering was excellent.
